Description We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on and results-driven Division Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities at our production facility. This role is a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and GAAP. Ensure a smooth and successful annual audit by maintaining accurate and well-organized financial records.
Month-End Close:
Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation.
Cost Management:
Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory, providing actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency. Responsible for inventory valuation and standard costing systems.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Drive the plant's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals and identifying cost control opportunities.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
Collaboration & Support:
Partner with plant management to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and operational improvements.
