Bilingual Spanish / English Underwriting Assistant Diag Partners - 3.9 Troy, MI Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $60,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Microsoft Excel Word embeddings English Productivity software Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service by responding to incoming calls and written communication from producers and customers Assist underwriting teams with preparing and processing new business and renewal quotes Identify policy changes or transactions and ensure they are accurately communicated and entered into the system Partner with underwriters to review inspection reports and help track any outstanding items Manage workload efficiently to help the department meet service standards and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Support underwriting projects or additional tasks as needed Provide coverage and assistance for team members during high-volume periods or when requested Complete other duties as assigned Work onsite in the office as scheduled Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience Previous customer service experience is preferred Experience with a property and casualty insurance carrier or agency is a plus Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Must be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Skills & Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others Ability to review, document, and organize information from multiple sources, even when formats vary Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment Adaptable with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting Highly detail-oriented, motivated, and able to take initiative
