Underwriting Assistant

Valley Forge Office (Wayne, PA, USA) Job Description Provide support to Underwriting by qualifying accounts according to HSB guidelines. Research property locations for prior coverage and losses, assign occupancies to locations using established performance standards that are responsive to marketing, underwriting, retention and services goals. Focus on special handling and highly serviceable accounts (HAS), including hospitals, municipalities and colleges. Take inbound phone calls and communicating with brokers/agencies, customers and internal departments. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required Experience in providing exceptional customer experience and handling customer escalations Experience with internet research Knowledge and Skills Excellent data entry, telephone and PC skills.
