This position provides technical and administrative support to our Underwriters and Independent Agents and plays an important role in helping the department operate accurately and efficiently. ______________________________________

Responsibilities:

Review policy renewals and complete appropriate underwriting file documentation. Review and process policy endorsements and cancellations. Order loss control inspections, property valuations, and loss reports. Rate new business submissions and renewal policies. Review documents and system information for accuracy and completeness. Communicate with underwriters and independent agents regarding outstanding information and processing requirements. Assist with other departmental functions and related duties as assigned. ______________________________________

Job Qualifications/Requirements :

Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficient with computer systems, MS Office and Excel in particular. ImageRight experience is a plus. Must be dependable with a positive, upbeat personality and desire to be part of a team. Some property & casualty experience preferred, but we will train the right individual with the appropriate skills, aptitude, and interest in the insurance industry. ______________________________________

Education:

College (accredited US school) with business or other relevant major preferred. Will consider a non-business major, Associates Degree, or HS Diploma if the candidate has relevant skills and experience. Industry designations are a plus.
