  • Post Enrollment is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of student financial aid records after initial enrollment.
This role supports the student lifecycle by reviewing and processing adjustments related to academic progression, program changes, and enrollment updates. Reporting to the Title IV Compliance Director, this position operates within a highly regulated environment and requires the ability to apply federal, state, and institutional guidelines to student scenarios. The Advisor exercises independent judgment to ensure financial aid records are accurate, compliant, and aligned with student enrollment activity, while minimizing institutional risk. This is a primarily systems-focused role with limited direct student interaction, emphasizing accuracy, accountability, and timely resolution of post-enrollment financial aid changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Post-Enrollment Financial Aid Adjustments Review and process financial aid updates resulting from academic progression, including failed coursework and course retake fees Adjust academic year end dates, loan period end dates, and disbursement schedules in accordance with regulatory and institutional requirements Evaluate and process schedule changes during add/drop periods, determining impact to financial aid eligibility and awards Update cost of attendance components, as required Update stipends amounts, as required Review and clear associated disbursement exceptions to ensure Title IV aid is disbursed timely Submit Title IV refund request, as required Program Changes & Enrollment Updates Process program transfer requests for active students, ensuring all financial aid elements are accurately recalculated and aligned with the new program Submit Title IV refund request, as required Compliance & Risk Management Apply Title IV regulations and institutional policies to determine appropriate financial aid adjustments Exercise independent judgment in resolving routine and moderately complex record discrepancies Ensure all updates are completed with a high degree of accuracy to support audit readiness and compliance standards Identify and escalate complex or high-risk scenarios to the Title IV Compliance Director or appropriate team Collaboration & Operational Alignment Partner with Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Advising, Registrar and Compliance teams to ensure alignment across the student lifecycle Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all record updates within the Student Information System (SIS) Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, errors, or process inefficiencies related to post-enrollment adjustments
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of 1-2 years of financial aid experience required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business equipment. Siting for long periods of time; up to 8 hours of computer and/or phone work daily.

Majority of work is performed in a general office environment.

  • $75,000 k.
