FINANCIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST
Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Financial Services Specialist for our Ridgefield, WA location. While this location is still under construction, training and work location will include Woodland and Longview Financial Service Centers until Ridgefield Financial Service Center opens. Receive and assist members in person, online, or on the telephone. Provide thorough Credit Union information and encourage members to use the many other services of the Credit Union. Open all types of new accounts and cross sell basic Credit Union services to new prospects and existing members in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner. Receive and submit loan application information for members and sign loan documents.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine prospective members' qualifications for membership based on current field of membership. Transfer accounts for members and make appropriate referrals to cross sell a variety of Credit Union services. Open new share, checking, IRA, and certificate accounts, and maintain existing and closed accounts. Carry through related duties and activities according to Credit Union policies and procedures. Obtain proper documentation of direct deposits and related duties. Process and maintain safety deposit box rentals, billing, and other related duties when applicable. Answer a variety of member inquiries and maintain a good working knowledge of Credit Union services. Submit loan application information for members to Consumer Lending. Complete member loan signings in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures. Perform all cash handler functions at peak periods in the service center. Perform vault duties for the service center as needed. Provide exceptional member service. Must follow Credit Union policies and procedures as outlined for Loans, Member Services, Tellers, the Employee Guide, and Security, ensuring all dual control and internal controls are followed within their area of responsibility. Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and use initiative while effectively adapting to change. Provide assistance to service center personnel in the absence or unavailability of the manager or supervisor, including approvals and overrides. Open and close service center as needed. Position Knowledge- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school is required. Financial or credit union experience helpful but not required. Problem Solving

- The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans. Quality Control
- The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Dependability
- The individual is consistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law which are outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds to Management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance. Observes Policies/Procedures
- The individual observes Credit Union policy and applicable Standard Operating Procedures, as well as those in the Employee Guide. Image

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Possess high school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements- Ability to lift 20 pounds and carry a cash drawer. Ability to stand for extended periods as required. Travel
