Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Fire Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire protection systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes. Your expertise will help safeguard people, property, and assets by delivering top-tier service and technical solutions. Duties Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, sensors, and low-voltage electrical components to ensure proper operation and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and CAD drawings to accurately install, troubleshoot, and service fire protection systems Install, modify, and repair fire alarm systems using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols Perform construction inspections related to fire sprinkler fitting, alarm system sales, and fire alarm sales projects to verify quality standards are met during installation phases Diagnose electrical issues within fire alarm systems, sensors, and low-voltage wiring; utilize electrical experience to resolve complex problems efficiently Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate fire safety systems seamlessly into building plans Provide field service support by troubleshooting on-site issues, conducting system upgrades, and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards Requirements Valid license as a Fire Technician or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in fire protection systems Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarm installation, or related service technician roles Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for system installation and repairs Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings accurately; familiarity with system design principles is essential Knowledge of construction inspection processes related to fire safety installations Electrical experience with low-voltage wiring, sensors, alarms, and NEC standards for safe electrical practices Excellent field service skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex systems efficiently Effective communication skills for sales support in alarm system sales or fire alarm sales contexts Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments while maintaining high safety standards Join us as a Licensed Fire Technician if you're eager to leverage your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment dedicated to safety excellence.
