Firearm Sales Associate - Part Time

Part-Time Firearms Sales Associate This is not an entry-level position . Applicants must already be confident, knowledgeable, and experienced with firearms. AFAB Firearms Inc. is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Part-Time Firearms Sales Associate to join our team. This role requires prior firearms experience, strong sales ability, attention to detail, and strict adherence to all federal and California compliance regulations. A valid California DOJ Certificate of Eligibility (COE) is required, or you must be actively in the process of obtaining one.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ( Saturday availability is required; additional days may be scheduled as needed ) Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner Provide knowledgeable guidance on firearms, accessories, and related products Help customers select firearms based on their needs and intended use Maintain constant firearm safety awareness at all times Accurately complete all required paperwork in compliance with laws and regulations Process DROS transactions, private party transfers (PPT), and consignments Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and via email Place and follow up on special orders and backorders Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally Maintain accurate customer records in POS system Stock inventory and keep the store organized and properly merchandised Ensure full compliance with ATF, DOJ, and California regulations Qualifications & Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Must have a clean criminal record Must have a valid California DOJ COE (or be in process of obtaining one) Sales experience is required Firearms knowledge and hands-on experience is required Basic computer proficiency required Strong communication skills High attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs Bilingual is a plus Must be able to work Saturdays (weekday availability also required, with flexibility for additional days as needed) If you're experienced, dependable, and ready to work in a professional firearms retail environment, we encourage you to apply.
