AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and driver activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
