Fleet Dispatcher- Second Shift Summary of Position The Fleet Dispatcher will coordinate and direct the activities of personnel and equipment to complete the work in the most efficient and timely manner while working in a team atmosphere. BRW. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating the daily pickup and deliveries with customers and city drivers Dispatching city drivers in the most efficient and cost-effective manner Dispatching of over the local drivers to their next assignments Dispatching shipments into database using McLeod Loadmaster Software Interacting with other team members to assist in reaching daily goals Ensuring necessary data is entered into customer portals of shipments Ensure proper and complete documentation of driver data, activity, discussions, accomplishments, and issues Creation of all documents needed for driver's delivery and pickups Processing all documents upon drivers' return to ensure ease for payroll and billing

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact with internal and external customers, managers, ownership, and all employees Maintain appropriate contact with all accounts and respond to requests when required and timely Cross-training and learning all functions and responsibilities of the Transportation Team Follows and enforces all ISO, HR policies and procedures applicable to Transportation Operations All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite Programs Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities, includes building effective teams Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and timely decision making Able to be on call every 3rd weekend including required Saturday hours and some Sunday if necessary Ability to access tasks, prioritize solutions, and execute decisions
