Duties Engage with customers in-store and via outbound calls to understand their flooring needs and preferences, offering tailored product recommendations. Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations to showcase flooring options, including materials, durability, and installation processes. Develop new business opportunities through lead generation activities such as cold calling, networking, and community outreach. Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling complementary products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and sales pipelines efficiently. Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives to promote flooring products through local campaigns and digital channels. Negotiate pricing and installation services with clients to close sales effectively while maintaining profitability. Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer preferences to inform strategic planning and analysis. Experience Proven success in outside sales or retail sales roles with a focus on B2B (business-to-business) or B2C (business-to-consumer) environments. Strong management skills demonstrated through account management responsibilities. Experience with technology sales tools such as CRM software for lead generation and customer relationship management. Excellent negotiation skills paired with a customer-centric approach to upselling and closing deals. Familiarity with marketing strategies that drive business development and brand awareness within a competitive marketplace. Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate clients on technical aspects of flooring materials. Strong analysis skills to evaluate market trends, customer needs, and sales performance data for continuous improvement.
