Floor Supervisor

Floor Supervisor - Well established Bar and Grille with amazing food and outdoor patio looking for a FOH Manager to create a positive and memorable guest dining experience. Will be accountable for overseeing all day-to-day operations from planning, to execution of all company standards, quality assurance, inventory of supplies, forecasting business levels, and all front of house responsibilities. Qualified candidate will provide leadership to front of house and have good communication with the Head Chef and Kitchen. Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, training staff while maintain a cohesive team atmosphere, assisting with scheduling, working with large groups and booking catering and parties. A minimum of 5 years restaurant management and good communication skills are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Direct, plan, supervise, and monitor day to day operations to ensure shift run smoothly from and execution and guest experience standpoint. Develop, coach, and engage Associates to ensure teamwork, and Associate satisfaction and retention. Oversee daily shift responsibilities of all employees and ensure actions (side work, service, sanitation) are up to company standards. Ability to interview and employ individuals who would fit in with Firepits' goals and standards. Work with Head Chef and kitchen to streamline back of house and front of house. Book large parties, collect deposits, plan menu with prospect and assist in execution of the events. Good communication with Chef is essential. Work with General Manager on schedules and weekly staff planning. Knowledge of POS systems (preferable ALOHA) Technology knowledge. Must know how to follow up on email correspondence and learn systems such as Homebase which is used for scheduling. Interact with guests, providing them with information about the restaurant and upselling when possible. Spot check tables and maintain the highest level of organization and cleanliness. Solve all customer concerns and complaints in a timely, professional, and positive manner.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses. Review daily financial report and respond accordingly. Work to keep labor cost in line with restaurant sales. Balance petty cash Balance cash drawers and maintain them Communicate financial situations with Owner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

5 years of restaurant management experience. Serve Safe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification required. Must have proven leadership and communication skills to easily establish rapport with FOH and BOH peers and Associates Proven track record of staff development and retention. Posses an outgoing professional, collaborative, and positive demeanor in all interactions. Be able to multitask; adapt to change; and problem solve. Strong organizational skills and time management skills. Must be able to stand and work on your feet 90% of the time Bartending and serving experience. Must be able to jump in to any position in FOH that is needed. Due to Bar Management within the position applicant must be over 21 years of age. Interested in bartending experience. Must have open availability to be considered.
