Your Day-to-Day Create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and custom designs for everyday sales and holidaysDesign and prepare floral pieces for events such as weddings, funerals, holidays, and other special occasions, ensuring they meet customer expectations and Adams standardsTake customer orders for custom floral designs, listening closely to their needs and offering knowledgeable suggestions to bring their vision to lifeAssist customers by providing information about flower varieties and design optionsEnsure that all floral products meet Adams high-quality standards by checking for freshness, visual appeal, and proper labelingHelp with inventory by receiving floral deliveries, unpacking shipments, and restocking the sales floor with care and accuracyFollow store policies and procedures, including those related to product rotation, workplace safety, and department cleanlinessMaintain neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing floral displays and coolers throughout the departmentClean and sanitize work areas, tools, buckets, and display surfaces regularly to meet safety standardsStay informed about current floral trends, seasonal offerings, and Adams' floral product line to provide excellent customer serviceWhat you bring to the FarmMinimum of 2 years of experience in floral design, including hands-on work with fresh flower arrangements and event designKnowledge of floral design techniques and flower varieties Familiarity with industry best practices for flower handling, storage, and displayWork collaboratively and communicate effectively with co-workers and managersStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and qualityAbility to operate floral tools and equipment, such as floral knives, clippers, and coolersAbility to demonstrate and embody Adams culture and valuesExhibit enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for Adams floral products and commitment to qualityWorking ConditionsAbility to work varied hours/days based on department needsAbility to communicate and exchange information so others will understandConsistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periods combined with frequent movement in a fast-paced environmentOccasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladderRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shiftMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesPerks of the Job At Adams, we believe in recognizing and rewarding excellent work with competitive compensation and meaningful benefits. The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $17.00 - $25.50 per hour. At Adams, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
