This role ensures execution of company standards while driving sales, managing shrink, and delivering visually appealing, high‑quality floral offerings. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, train, and develop floral department associates Create schedules aligned with business needs and labor standards Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed Foster a positive, creative, and customer‑focused team environment Floral Department Operations Oversee daily operations including receiving, care, rotation, merchandising, and arrangement of floral products Ensure freshness, quality, and presentation standards are consistently met Execute seasonal programs, promotional displays, and holiday transitions Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of department equipment and displays Inventory, Sales & Shrink Control Manage ordering, forecasting, and inventory levels to support sales and minimize waste Monitor shrink, spoilage, and markdowns in alignment with company expectations Analyze sales trends and adjust product assortment and displays accordingly Control department expenses and support overall store financial performance Customer Experience Deliver exceptional customer service and fulfill custom floral requests and arrangements Resolve escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner Ensure the department is visually appealing and customer‑ready at all times Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of floral products Ensure associates follow safe work practices and equipment guidelines
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay- , PTO/Vacation pay
