Medical Front Office Administrator_Integrative Medicine
JOB SUMMARY

Gonino Center for Healing is searching for a dependable, outgoing individual who enjoys working with the public to fill a key position in our organization. The Front Office Administrator plays and important role in the quality of service provided to our patients.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent Prior medical office and insurance billing experience is preferredJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Organization Skills and Attention to Detail Exceptional customer, interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and written Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with constantly changing priorities Ability to listen and communicate effectively Ability to establish and maintain effective relations with supervisor, staff and patients Understands the fundamental importance of customer service and the adherence to regulatory standards and the achievement of business objectives Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is preferred Excels in an environment of rapid evolution and changeJOB DUTIES
Provide excellent customer service to all patients and caregivers Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner Checking patients in and out of the wellness center which includes explanation of benefits, collection of co-payments, and having patients complete their paperwork Answering incoming telephone lines and directing calls to the appropriate party Maintains all patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders Mailing and faxing reports Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, to include pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for services and enters data in appropriate databases Serves as a liaison between the providers, other medical professionals and patients, as appropriate Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential Works and communicates effectively with all staff members. Promotes teamwork. Provides great customer service in person and on the telephone Other duties as assigned SALARY Commensurate with experienceJob Type:
