Working at Brush Creek Ranch means joining a team dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
What You'll Do Safely guide and instruct guests on fly fishing techniques across our six still water ponds and over 20 miles of private water, as well as public waters. Equip guests with all necessary fly fishing gear, including rods, reels, waders, boots, and boats. Share your passion for fly fishing and provide detailed knowledge about the surrounding area, including its flora, fauna, and natural history. Assist with the maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure a high-quality experience for guests. Provide guest transportation, handle luggage, and guide other activities as needed. While drift boat and raft rowing skills are preferred, they are not required; however, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license, as driving guests and equipment is part of the role. Obtain First Aid/CPR certification and pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process. What You'll Bring Previous guiding experience and strong instructional techniques in fly fishing. A deep knowledge and passion for the sport of fly fishing, with a commitment to guest satisfaction. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest orientation.
