Job Description

As a Supervisor of Food and Beverage, you will be a key leader in our venue, responsible for the day-to-day execution of operations. You'll ensure our excellent service standards are met and that every product served is of the highest quality. This role involves providing direct leadership to staff, training new team members, and contributing to a positive work environment. You will also get hands-on experience with the financial aspects of running a venue, including managing inventory and scheduling. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1-3 years of food and beverage experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to supervise a department and provide input on hiring, firing, and performance decisions. Ability to obtain a food handler's card. Ability to obtain a state-issued Alcoholic Beverage License. Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Oversee the daily operations of the venue, with guidance from management. Ensure all food and beverage products served are of excellent quality. Provide leadership to staff, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. Interview, hire, train, and orient new team members to their jobs. Prepare departmental schedules and complete administrative work. Order supplies, maintain par stocks, and manage inventory control. Get an introduction to the financial aspects of food/labor/operating costs. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company policies, and federal regulations. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for both employees and guests. Conduct group and individual training on company policies, service standards, and food and beverage offerings. Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six").
