Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the full scope of our hotel's food and beverage program. This is a hands-on leadership role that spans our restaurant, bar, and banquet operations - requiring someone who leads with professionalism, adapts quickly across outlets, and delivers an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. Role Overview The F&B Operations Supervisor serves as the operational backbone of the hotel's food and beverage department, providing direct oversight of restaurant dining, bar service, and banquet and event operations. This role works in close coordination with hotel management to ensure seamless daily service, successful event execution, and consistent adherence to brand and service standards across all outlets. Key Responsibilitie Multi-Outlet Operation
  • Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations across the restaurant, bar, and banquet/event space
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for each outlet, including cash handling, POS reconciliation, and facility walkthrough
  • Ensure service standards, presentation, and guest experience protocols are consistently upheld across all area
  • Monitor staffing coverage, floor flow, and pacing in real time - redistributing resources across outlets as business demands shift Banquet & Event Operation
  • Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of private events, corporate functions, social gatherings, and hotel programming
  • Coordinate event space configurations including furniture layout, linen, AV placement, décor, and place settings per BEO specification
  • Serve as the primary on-site supervisor during events, acting as the point of contact for clients, vendors, and entertainment
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) ahead of each event and brief the service team accordingly
  • Ensure seamless transitions between daily hotel operations and private or special event setup Team Leadership
  • Supervise and coach bartenders, servers, banquet staff, barbacks, and support team members across all outlet
  • Lead pre-shift and pre-event meetings to communicate service goals, menu updates, layout changes, and guest expectation
  • Partner with the F&B Director and hotel management on scheduling, performance feedback, and cross-training staff across restaurant, bar, and banquet function Guest Experience
  • Uphold and model the hotel's hospitality standards, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the quality and care the property is known for
  • Build rapport with hotel guests and event clients, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations from arrival through departure
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when appropriate All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. Qualifications Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years of F&B experience spanning restaurant, bar, and/or banquet operation
  • At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably within a hotel or full-service hospitality environment
  • Strong working knowledge of bar service, table service, and event floor management
  • Demonstrated ability to read and execute from a BEO and manage an event from setup through breakdown
  • Experience with POS systems (Toast, Square, Micros, or similar)
  • TIPS certified or ability to obtain upon hire; ServSafe food handler certification a plu
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and team leadership skill
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and select holiday Preferred
  • Prior experience in hotel banquet operations, catering, or event service
  • Familiarity with event space configuration, AV coordination, and vendor management
  • Experience supporting event sales or client-facing event coordination
  • Knowledge of hotel F&B systems and departmental structure Compensation & Benefit
