Food Service Manager - Tyson Columbus Junction, IA NO SUNDAYS and NO HOLIDAYS

VVS Canteen is seeking a motivated, customer focused Food Service Manager to oversee functions of the employee cafeteria at the Tyson Plant in Columbus Junction, IA. The ideal candidate will have extensive food service experience, a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead 15-20 employees. Job Duties Oversee 15-20 employees on a daily basis including: hiring, training, discipline, and terminations. Follow weekly menus and recipes to be served to our customers. Follow all Food Safety Protocol. Complete operation functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling. Compete any other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Institutional Food Service Management or Restaurant Management. Excellent work history with work related references. Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
