Louisa Internal PBX Shag Driver JD Yard - Shag Driver Opr - "This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner."
Description:
This position is responsible for operating a shag truck to move semi-trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of the PBX division. It requires using a shag truck to move semi-trailers and backing them into designated loading docks and parking areas. It requires frequent climbing into and out of the shag truck therefore must be able to climb in/out of truck using 3 points of contact several times a day and climb ladders as needed at varying height.
Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job listed below with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift. Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Work is performed outside and therefore requires must be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc. The position also involves completion of paperwork as well as frequent communication using a radio to communicate with the shipping department. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform position tasks. In addition, must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, and available for overtime. The PBX division operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Must have a valid Driver's License and be 18 years or older and must be able to pass MVR report. No CDL is required. NO DUI or DWIs in the last 12 months Successful candidate will have less than 6 attendance points, no disciplines in the last 12 months resulting in suspension and have completed their 90 day probationary period. Refrigeration Roundsman This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience related to refrigeration, ammonia systems, boiler systems, or HVAC Team members with 6 or more attendance points and or any suspension in the previous 12 months will not be considered. This position is responsible for maintaining a smooth and accurate flow of trailers to the docks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
