Learn more at www.campharmon.org Job Summary The Seasonal Food Services Manager oversees kitchen operations for a 9-10 week summer camp, ensuring timely preparation of three daily meals. This role executes menu plans, provides nutritious meals, accommodates dietary needs, manages inventory, coordinates with Director on orders, and supervises a 3-4 person team. Requires 3+ years' experience (5 preferred) and strong leadership, organization, and time management skills. Summer season is approximately June 8 - August 10, check here for detailed schedule. Consists of nine 5-day sessions with 2 days off between sessions. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and meal preparation for approximately 80-90 campers and staff (combined). Execute prepared menu plans, adjust as needed. Ensure nutrition and quality. Supervise and support 3-4 kitchen staff in a positive, team-oriented manner. Excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Ensure food safety standards and health code compliance. Manage inventory, order coordination, kitchen organization and conduct weekly meetings. Accommodate dietary restrictions and special needs (primarily gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, peanut-free). Qualifications Minimum 3 years of comparable food service experience (5 preferred), in a school, cafeteria, medical, or camp setting. Food Protection Manager Certification, Food Allergen Certification, and completion of or willingness to complete Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) training. Strong optimistic, leadership and team supervision skills. Reliable and dependable with excellent organization and time management. Knowledge of food safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, at times. Documentation Duties Demonstrate willingness to learn, follow, and reinforce food service and kitchen equipment procedures.

Complete and maintain documentation for: Food orders, track deliveries and inventory Incident reports Staff performance evaluations
Core Skills & Requirements Language:
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read, respond to inquiries, and write creatively.
Math:
Apply basic concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios) and interpret data.
Reasoning:
Problem-solving, data analysis, and interpretation of technical instructions.
Technology:
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel; and online ordering systems. Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit; occasional reaching and handling. Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
