Job Title:
Electrical Foreman Job Description This position leads field operations within a growing prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment. The Electrical Foreman oversees daily electrical activities, assigns work, trains and mentors team members, and ensures that all conduit bending, wire pulling, and terminations meet quality, safety, and project specifications. The role focuses on building and supporting HACs and failure domains for large-scale equipment such as transformers while maintaining high standards of productivity and compliance with electrical codes. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily work activities of electricians, apprentices, and helpers in a prefabrication and data center infrastructure environment. Assign tasks to team members and ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with specifications and project plans. Lead and oversee conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations, with a focus on HACs and failure domains for large-scale equipment such as transformers. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in prefabricated electrical assemblies for data center installations. Train and mentor junior team members on electrical installation practices, job-site procedures, and safe work methods. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to guide installation and ensure work aligns with design requirements. Document work progress, track completed tasks, and clearly report updates and issues to leadership. Enforce safety standards and promote a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Collaborate closely with project teams to meet production timelines, project milestones, and overall project goals. Ensure adherence to applicable electrical codes and standards throughout all phases of production. Support the build-out of the leadership team by demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills. Assist in running projects by coordinating resources, monitoring workloads, and adjusting priorities as needed to maintain schedule. Essential Skills Strong electrical experience in a commercial or industrial setting, with at least 5+ years of hands-on field experience. Proficiency in conduit bending, including EMT and rigid conduit systems. Demonstrated experience with wire pulling and electrical terminations in commercial or industrial projects. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Solid understanding of electrical installation practices and electrical construction methods. Experience leading crews and running projects, including assigning work and monitoring performance. Proven ability to lead crew sizes of 4 or more people in a field or production environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to train, instruct, and mentor team members. Ability to understand and apply electrical codes relevant to commercial and industrial installations. Capability to document workload, track tasks, and maintain accurate records of work performed. Experience working in construction or industrial environments involving installation and cable work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman license card or equivalent accredited hours is a strong plus. Completion of a trade school program in electrical or a related field is highly preferred. Experience in industrial installations and electrical construction within prefabrication or data center environments. Background in leading project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Skill in training and instructing apprentices and helpers on safe and efficient electrical practices. Comfort working with detailed project documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and project plans. Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and support the growth of a developing leadership team. Why Work Here?
