Visit our website to learn more by clicking here. The Estacada School District is seeking a full-time CTE - Forestry Teacher to work at Estacada High School for the 2026/2027 school year. The Forestry and Natural Resources CTE teacher will provide instruction in a comprehensive pathway that builds students' foundational skills and real-world experience across forestry and natural resources. The program emphasizes hands-on learning in areas forest management, wood products, and land stewardship. In alignment with Estacada School District priorities, the teacher will engage in continuous improvement to refine the program to ensure it stays aligned with state standards, student learning objectives, and workforce needs, drawing on their own experience in forestry, natural resources, or a related field.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or higher Valid CTE Preliminary or Professional Oregon TSPC License (or ability to hold prior starting) with the proper endorsement(s) and committed to keeping their license in good standing with TSPC. Prefer at least 3 years of industry experience. Prefer teachers who have a strong support of a continuous learning model in the classroom for students and staff; support and believe that a system based on learning, as opposed to teaching, should be our systems focus; supports proficiency based learning and grading, and is willing to take risks. Successful classroom experience desired. Successful candidates shall demonstrate proficiency to communicate clearly and appropriately verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are preferred but not required. Must be flexible and willing to work in person, on campus and/or virtually.
