Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Occupational Therapist - School Setting (Part-Time Contract)
Location:
Estacada, OR Schedule:
Part-time, 20 hours per week, flexible with days
Term:
August 19 - June 14
Student Levels:
K-12 We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school environment on a part-time contract basis. This role offers flexibility with scheduling to accommodate a 20-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have experience providing occupational therapy services within educational settings, helping students develop functional skills necessary for success in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of K-12 students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures. Provide guidance and training to staff regarding therapeutic strategies and accommodations.
Qualifications/Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials required. Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred. Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational standards. Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
