Forklift Operator:

What's a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You'll be: Transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations using Powered Industrial Trucks. Receiving, distributing, and storing products in secure, designated areas. Preparing and maintaining records of materials received and shipped, including dates, locations, and other details. Reviewing shipments and documents for accuracy and quality, confirming shipping details, and expediting priority shipments. Loading and unloading materials manually or using hand trucks and skids. Resolving issues with contractors or vendors when they arise. Validating, approving, and forwarding invoices to accounting. Collecting and disposing of scrap materials, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations. Following and maintaining 7S Program guidelines and performing additional related duties as assigned. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have at least two years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts). Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Are comfortable with heights (order picker can reach up to 30 feet) and can lift/push/pull up to 55 pounds. Have proficient math skills and are comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Demonstrate efficient time management and the ability to work in a moderate to loud warehouse environment with occasional exposure to weather. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or formal training in a related field preferred). Understand and adhere to company policies regarding information security, confidentiality, and data protection.
