Front Desk Representative (Seasonal) Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures & Lodge•
Southern Oregon Seasonal:
Mid May•October 31 About Us Located along the iconic Rogue River in Southern Oregon, Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures & Lodge has been delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences since 1946. From whitewater rafting and lodge-to-lodge hiking to world-class fishing, riverside lodging, and exceptional dining—our team creates experiences guests remember for a lifetime. We hold ourselves to a higher standard of hospitality and are looking for team members who bring professionalism, energy, and attention to detail to everything they do. About the Role We are seeking a professional, highly organized, and guest-focused Front Desk Representative to join our seasonal team. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role that blends: Guest service Sales Operations coordination You will be a key point of contact for guests, helping them plan and experience their time with us from first call to departure. Seasonal Schedule Overview Training Period (Mid-May•October 31st) 4-5 days per week Hands-on training including: Reservation systems Phone systems & call handling Guest communication Sales techniques Front desk procedures Reservations Phone/email communication Operational setup for the season Peak Season (Mid-May•October 31) 4-5 days per week Shifts include:
Afternoon Shift:
~1:00 PM•8:30 PM Closing shift 2pm•10pm Combination schedules may apply Key Responsibilities Process reservations for: Lodging Rafting trips (half-day, full-day, multi-day) Shuttle services Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries (phone, email, in-person) Deliver exceptional guest service with professionalism and efficiency Manage check-ins, check-outs, and front desk flow Assist guests with trip planning and logistics Handle retail sales and daily cash drawer procedures Process payments and maintain accurate booking records Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front desk Support office and management team with administrative tasks Review reservations for accuracy and ensure operational readiness Qualifications Minimum 2 years of sales experience At least 1 year of hospitality or lodging experience Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn reservation systems and manage multiple programs simultaneously Fast and accurate typing skills (ability to efficiently enter reservations while speaking with guests) Strong computer skills (Google Docs, Excel, Word) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Valid driver's license
