Front Desk Associate - Guest Services The Estes Park Resort | Estes Park, CO Multiple openings available across AM, Midday, PM, and occasional Night Audit shifts Position Summary The Front Desk Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, phone communication, and guest assistance. This role ensures guests receive a safe, welcoming, and seamless experience while supporting hotel revenue and operational accuracy. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding guest service throughout all interactions Check guests in and out, assign rooms, and issue keys Answer and transfer phone calls professionally Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations Handle guest payments, folios, and daily cash handling procedures Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status, VIPs, and special requests Perform courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction Deliver guest amenities (rollaway beds, cribs, towels, etc.) as needed Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate key information to management and team members Balance cash drawers, complete deposits, and close shifts accurately Assist with resolving guest concerns using empowerment and service recovery Support team members and assist with training as needed Complete shift checklists and maintain key control procedures Respond to guest needs throughout the property and remain highly visible and available Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Basic computer proficiency required Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Requirements Must be available for a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Resort operates 24/7; shifts may vary based on business needs Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed Standing, walking, and active guest engagement required throughout shifts What We're Looking For We are seeking dependable, service-driven individuals who take initiative, communicate clearly, and thrive in a guest-focused environment.
