www.missbeautyla.com About the Role This is a dual-role position: you will start at the front desk and grow into providing facial and scalp treatments as you are trained and ready. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, stays organized without being told to, and takes initiative rather than waiting to be directed. If you are the kind of person who follows up with a client before being asked, keeps track of what needs to happen next, brings positive energy every time you pick up the phone, and makes people feel genuinely cared for the moment they sit down in your chair, this role was written for you. This is also a strong opportunity for candidates who are licensed but have not had an easy time landing hands-on experience. We train, we develop, and we bring people up the right way. What You'll Do Represent Miss Beauty with every interaction. How you present yourself, speak to clients, and carry the brand day to day contributes directly to the experience we are known for. Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with leads, book new appointments, and reconnect with past clients. This is a core part of the job, not an occasional task. Take initiative to follow up with clients and prospects without needing to be reminded. Convert inquiries into booked appointments and follow up with existing clients to drive repeat visits. Greet clients warmly and manage the front desk with positive, high-energy professionalism. Manage Miss Beauty's Instagram and social media presence. Create content (photos, reels, stories), engage with followers, and respond to DMs and comments. Book and manage appointments through our salon booking system. Perform facials, scalp treatments, and head spa services once trained and cleared. In the treatment room, you will build real client relationships by reading the room, balancing conversation with quiet, and making every client feel safe, seen, and well taken care of. Recommend skincare products and home-care routines to support client results. Requirements Active California cosmetology or esthetics license (cosmetologist preferred). Genuinely outgoing, positive energy, and comfortable making phone calls. This is a must. Naturally organized and goal-oriented. You manage your own priorities and follow through without needing to be chased. Self-directed with good judgment. You know what needs to happen and you handle it. Warm, emotionally intelligent, and able to build genuine rapport with clients. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Interest in skincare, K-Beauty, or wellness. Nice to Have Prior experience with facials, scalp treatments, or head spa services. Experience in a client-facing or front desk role. Familiarity with salon booking software.
