Front Desk & Customer Service Coordinator

  • Full-time Planters' Choice Nursery is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused team member to join our front office staff at our wholesale nursery in Newtown, CT.
This position involves processing invoices through our ERP software system, assisting customers in person and over the phone, answering questions efficiently and professionally, and helping maintain a welcoming and organized office environment during our busy seasonal periods. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, and able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Processing invoices and customer transactions using ERP-based software Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers with questions Researching customer information and resolving issues efficiently Maintaining a professional, upbeat atmosphere for customers and staff Handling cash transactions and balancing the register Supporting day-to-day front office operations This is a full-time, year-round position with guaranteed 40-hour work weeks, paid vacation/personal time, and benefits. Prior horticulture experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates willing to learn. Applicants should be comfortable working Saturdays during the spring through fall season.
