  • Full-time The Hampton Inn & Suites Lamar is seeking a highly motivated and guest-service-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to help lead our front office team.
This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the front desk while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining Hilton brand standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, organized, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage both guest needs and team performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise front desk operations during assigned shifts Lead and support Guest Service Agents to ensure excellent customer service Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new front desk employees Ensure all guest check-ins and check-outs are handled efficiently and accurately Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner Monitor room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily task delegation Complete daily reports, cash handling, and audit-related paperwork accurately Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area Help drive guest satisfaction scores and positive guest reviews
Qualifications:
Previous hotel front desk experience preferred Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Hilton brand experience preferred but not required Strong guest service and conflict resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Proficient computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable attendance and professional appearance required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to move throughout the hotel property as needed
