Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Front of House Manager / Host / Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure seamless service for our guests. This dynamic role combines hospitality management, customer service excellence, and team leadership to deliver memorable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for food and beverage service, and the ability to manage daily operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing wait times and reservations efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction Oversee front-of-house operations, including seating arrangements, table assignments, and ensuring smooth flow of service Train, supervise, and motivate staff members in customer service standards, food handling procedures, and POS system usage such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments and balancing registers at shift end Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, proper food safety practices, and inventory control Assist with staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations Support food production activities when necessary, including basic food preparation or assisting during busy periods in quick-service or casual dining settings Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry, ideally in fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential Background in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management preferred; culinary experience is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, and team management Familiarity with food safety standards and food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume setting Previous experience with banquet events, catering services, or hotel hospitality is advantageous Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
