Certification Stocking Order entry Restaurant experience Food Handler Certification Full Job Description The Cashier / Customer Service team member is responsible for creating a fast, friendly, and accurate ordering experience for every guest. This role manages the front counter, processes orders, handles payments, and ensures guests feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment they walk in. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service Greet every guest immediately with a friendly and professional attitude Take orders accurately and efficiently Answer menu questions and make recommendations Resolve basic guest concerns or escalate to a manager when needed Maintain a positive and high-energy presence during busy periods Order Taking & POS Enter orders correctly into POS system Handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments Confirm orders with guests before finalizing Call next guest in line clearly and professionally Manage online, pickup, and delivery orders as needed Front of House Operations Keep front counter clean, organized, and stocked Restock bags, utensils, condiments, and beverages Maintain cleanliness of dining area and restrooms when needed Refill drink stations and assist with FOH setup Team Support Communicate clearly with kitchen and other team members Assist with bagging and checking orders for accuracy Help maintain flow during rush periods Complete opening and closing side work Requirements Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash handling skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for long periods Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus (not required) Schedule & Availability Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays Flexible scheduling based on business needs Compensation Opportunities for raises and advancement What Success Looks Like Guests are greeted within 3 seconds of entering Orders are accurate and processed quickly Line moves efficiently even during rush Guests leave satisfied with a positive experience Front area stays clean and organized at all times Growth Opportunities Cashier → Shift Leader Shift Leader → Service Manager /
