FRONT OFFICE CNA

The Front Office CNA is responsible for ensuring quality client care and client coverage while also assisting with office and clerical duties as needed. This position requires a compassionate, dependable, and professional individual who is skilled in hands-on patient care and capable of supporting office operations through clerical and data entry tasks. Client care and continuity of services are the first priority of this role. The ideal candidate must be experienced in caring for elderly, disabled, and bed-bound clients while maintaining professionalism in both field and office settings. Essential Client Care Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Feed clients and assist with meal preparation Provide toileting assistance, diapering, and incontinence care Safely transfer and reposition clients, including proper Hoyer lift usage Care for bed-bound and total-care patients Assist with mobility and safety supervision Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care Run errands and assist with essential client needs when appropriate Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors Ensure clients receive dependable and uninterrupted care coverage Administrative & Clerical Duties Assist with front office operations and clerical support Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation Answer phones professionally and assist callers appropriately Maintain proper file organization and file etiquette Assist with scheduling support and office communication as needed Maintain confidentiality of all client and employee information Support compliance with agency policies and HIPAA regulations Demonstrate professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills with staff, clients, and families Qualifications Current CNA certification preferred or required based on assignment Experience with Hoyer lifts and bed-bound patient care required Experience providing incontinence care required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and conduct required Clerical or office experience preferred but not required Basic computer and data entry skills preferred Ability to multitask in both caregiving and office environments Reliable transportation required Ability to work as part of a team and assist with client coverage needs Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients safely Ability to stand, bend, walk, and assist clients for extended periods Ability to push and pull mobility equipment as needed Work Expectations Must prioritize client care and client coverage needs Must maintain professionalism in both office and client settings Must follow agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to assist where needed Preferred Skills Clerical and organizational experience Knowledge of scheduling systems and office communication Experience working in home care or healthcare settings Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
