Full Time Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food handling, with a strong understanding of food safety and culinary techniques. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to excellence in the kitchen and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing using proper knife skills. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or as a Cook is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong culinary skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
