As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working a consistent, flexible schedule that supports your life outside of work. We are currently hiring Full-Time DSPs for our Front-End Nights schedule, working three consecutive 12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights in our Garner homes. What You'll Do Support individuals with daily living activities, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication self-administration Learn and support each individual's unique abilities, preferences, and personal goals through a person-centered approach Encourage community involvement by transporting individuals to appointments, activities, and errands such as grocery shopping Assist with financial-related tasks as appropriate Complete, accurate, and timely documentation, including service notes and healthcare-related records in compliance with regulatory standards What You Bring Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation Ability to safely respond to behaviors using Mandt procedures in accordance with One Vision policies Basic computer skills for electronic documentation Ability to hear and respond to environmental and individual needs Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally Successful completion of pre-employment background check and health screenings Completion of required training and certifications This is a safety-sensitive position and requires strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly when supporting individuals, administering medications, and operating a motor vehicle No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.
