Job Description
Full Time Inpatient Physical Therapist supporting hospitalized patients in Snowmass, Colorado. Responsible for assessment, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary coordination to improve mobility and independence. Provides therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and manual therapy to aid recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate hospitalized patients to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs Develop and implement individualized inpatient physical therapy treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and manual therapy Assist patients with post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic recovery, neurological conditions, and acute care mobility Educate patients and family members on recovery strategies, mobility techniques, and home exercise programs Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans to support optimal recovery outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers to coordinate care and discharge planning Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress within the electronic medical record system Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and physical therapy standards Support patients in improving strength, balance, endurance, and independence during hospitalizationQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong clinical evaluation and rehabilitation planning skills Excellent patient communication and interdisciplinary teamwork abilitiesPreferred Skills:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in inpatient or acute care settings Experience with hospital-based rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care teamsBenefits:
