Full-time - Physical Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with expertise in patient care across diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will develop personalized care plans, utilize your physiology and anatomy knowledge, and deliver effective therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and improve quality of life for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including medical history review and functional assessments. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating evidence-based physiotherapy techniques. Administer therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise programs to facilitate recovery. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transition across care settings. Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those requiring home & community care services. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, injury prevention strategies, and self-care techniques to support ongoing recovery. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and maintain professional development through ongoing education. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist with relevant regional authorities. Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedic rehabilitation principles. Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and managing complex cases across acute care settings. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management purposes. Excellent patient care skills demonstrated through compassionate communication and effective treatment delivery. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Knowledge of trigger point therapy techniques and experience treating musculoskeletal conditions such as orthopedics or geriatrics is preferred.
