This energetic role involves managing access control, verifying shipments, and ensuring smooth operations at the gate. Duties Control access for all employees, visitors, carriers, and contractors entering or exiting the facility and yard Verify inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or AS400 platforms Conduct security inspections of vehicles, cargo, and personnel to prevent theft or unauthorized access Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations and documentation checks Support order fulfillment by coordinating with warehouse staff for picking & packing, order picking, and stock replenishment Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts when necessary to move freight safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records of all gate activities, inbound/outbound logs, and incident reports Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution environments Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks or pallet jacks Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400 Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and shipment verification Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and stock management Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; physically capable of handling freight as needed Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and external carriers Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence!
