In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing friendly customer service, preparing and serving delicious food items, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the concession area. Duties Prepare a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Square to process transactions accurately Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Restock supplies, organize inventory, and assist with food prep tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations Support other team members with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and managing the overall concession area efficiently Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or retail food outlets is preferred Familiarity with POS systems Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment involving cashiering, sales, or upselling is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain valuable experience in the food industry while providing outstanding service.
