Conduct oral surgeries including dental extractions and other minor surgical procedures with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize dental imaging tools and medical imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately. Manage root canal therapy (endodontics) procedures and provide appropriate follow-up care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery. Use dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions clearly to patients. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Skills Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and professionally. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other restorative treatments. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Ability to interpret medical imaging results effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly preferred. Effective communication skills for educating patients about their oral health and treatment options.
