Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Conduct dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental wellness. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting with proficiency in dental terminology and procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable systems for patient management and documentation. Experience performing pediatric dentistry procedures and handling pediatric patients is highly desirable. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery confidently. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
