Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics (required) Successful completion of the Praxis II test (#5266) (required) Current South Carolina Educator Teaching Certification in Secondary Physics or Science with AP endorsement (required) Professional Certification Endorsement (30-hour training) is strongly preferred, but candidates with all other requirements will be considered Demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for teaching AP Physics within a diverse and academically driven student body Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skillsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physics instruction to general education and AP-level students in accordance with school curriculum and standards Develop lesson plans, assessments, and hands-on learning activities that inspire inquiry and academic achievement Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning for all students Collaborate with department colleagues and school staff to support student progress and school initiatives Provide regular feedback to students and maintain open lines of communication with families as needed Joining this respected school offers an outstanding chance to make a positive impact in a vibrant academic setting.
