General Labor Modular Construction (Full‑Time)

Schoolhouse Manufacturing builds modular classrooms for school districts across California. We are hiring full‑time General Labor team members to support multiple trade areas inside our San Jacinto facility. Work is steady, production‑based, and focused on assembling, installing, and finishing modular units. We have openings across several departments, and applicants with experience in general construction, installation, painting, material handling, or production work are encouraged to apply. Open Trade Areas You may be assigned to one of the following roles based on experience: Commercial Door Installer Commercial Painter Exterior / Wall Framer Receiver / Material Handler Ship Loose Technician Electrician Many other production‑support roles within modular construction Responsibilities Depending on assignment, duties may include: Installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware Performing painting prep, masking, sanding, and finish work Framing walls and assembling exterior wall components Receiving, inspecting, organizing, and staging materials for production Preparing ship‑loose materials for delivery Using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools safely Maintaining clean, organized work areas Following production plans and meeting daily workflow requirements Skills & Experience Experience in general construction, painting, manufacturing, installation, or production work Ability to read and follow basic instructions, measurements, and layouts Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, consistent attendance in a production environment How to Apply Applications are accepted in person at: Schoolhouse Manufacturing 1651 S.
