Job Title:

Runner - Molding Department Job Description Join our dynamic molding department as a Runner where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the automatic Arburg molding machines and maintaining quality standards for a medical device manufacturer. Responsibilities Monitor Arburg machines to ensure efficient production in both automatic and semi-automatic modes. Visually inspect in-process and finished products for quality attributes as per specifications. Remove molded parts from machines and perform necessary finishing procedures such as degating and flash removal. Properly identify and label products, packages, and totes according to work order instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S principles. Complete work orders and related Device History Record (DHR) paperwork, including quantities and reject counts. Essential Skills Experience in assembly and documentation writing. Proficiency in operating scales and machinery for loading/unloading small parts. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and work-order memos. Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Organizational skills and the ability to work well with all department levels. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Experience in general production and labor work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
