Job Title:

Shop Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shop Worker in Dover to join our team. In this role, you will work with tool steel, cutting it to specific specifications using various tools and machinery. Responsibilities Operate machines, hand tools, and power tools to cut tool steel to specific measurements. Use a tape measure accurately down to 1/8 inch. Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Participate in forklift training to enhance operational efficiency. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/8 inch precision. Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous industrial experience. Work Environment The work environment is a large open warehouse with a team of approximately five individuals. Be prepared to work in a space that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with forklifts moving around. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, NH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
