We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Maintenance Worker to join our team at Eustace ISD Facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.Responsibilities:
1. Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry. 2. Help to maintain a clean, safe working environment. 3. Identify and report the need for major repairs. 4. Perform minor fixes, such as repairing hardware, damage to walls, etc. 5. Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed. 6. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and ensure functionality. 7. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, HVAC system tune-ups, etc.Skills:
1. Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting. 2. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems. 3. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. 4. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. 5. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. 6. Good physical condition and strength. 7. Ability to work in a team. 8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications:
While not mandatory, certifications in plumbing, electrical, or other related fields will be considered a plus.
