We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Start Teacher to join our team at Eustace Primary School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment to enhance a child's early learning and development.Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children. 2. Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events. 3. Observe and record children's growth, development, and behavior using electronic portfolios. 4. Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and children. 5. Regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress. 6. Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe. 7. Uphold the school's principles of child development and preschool educational philosophy.Skills:
1. Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods. 2. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement a comprehensive early childhood education program. 3. Strong communication and time management skills. 4. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. 5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. 6. Patience, flexibility, and love for children.Certifications:
The candidate must hold a valid teaching certification. Additional certification in early childhood education will be a plus. We are looking for a Head Start Teacher who can inspire and motivate children while managing their learning and development.
