Waves Car Wash is currently looking for a proven leader to join our team as General Manager at our Milford, DE location! We are looking for a high character, proven leader and mentor who is willing to put in the time and work needed to be an exceptional GM. Previous Management experience in a Customer Service / Retail industry is required. Experience in the car wash industry is
STRONGLY PREFERRED. A
background in mechanical repair and/or automotive repair is also a
MAJOR PLUS.

GO! Wash Car Wash is the premier car wash on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with one location in Cambridge and two locations in Easton.

Waves Car Wash, has two locations in Lewes DE and Milford DE and two in development. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and take advantage of future growth opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful GM will address customer questions and issues professionally and with empathy as needed, be able to learn our business from the ground up by performing and learning all duties. A successful GM will transcend the Go!

Wash and Waves has plans to expand into multiple locations, providing significant opportunity for growth within our company. Success in this position will be measured by: Customer Service ∙Maintain superior customer experience throughout the car wash process while troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. ∙Maintain and grow loyal customer base by establishing reputation based on responsiveness, integrity and service. ∙Continue to provide as well as find new ways to provide exemplary service to our customers ∙Resolve customer complaints/issues and ensure the customer has a positive experience. Facilities ∙GM is responsible for the appearance and maintenance of all customer facing and back of the house facilities. ∙Facilitate maintenance and safety of car wash site and equipment Execute all daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists are completed by delegating tasks through additional onsite leadership (Team Leads). Supervise cash handling procedures and transport and make deposits to the bank. Changing out signage to match seasonal offerings Leadership ∙Develop and oversee staff of approximately 30+ team members, and provide input on processes. ∙Responsible for product knowledge within the business and creating a culture of continuous training to our Team Members ∙Motivates and engages Team Members to ensure they represent and embrace the ISM's and understand company goals ∙Responsible for training Team Members, specifically Greeter responsibilities, loader, and tech positions ∙Assess individual performance through observations and measurements, coaching as needed ∙Have analytical skills to review data, and with assistance from the Regional Manager (RM) identify the key pieces of information that are most relevant, draw meaningful conclusions and identify actionable takeaways ∙Oversee Team Members coaching, hiring, training and development, and maintaining a productive work environment. ​ Requirements ∙
Management:
2+ years - Previous experience hiring, managing and developing employees is required. ∙
Car Wash Industry:
2 years (Preferred) ∙Mechanical Background (not required, but applicable) ∙Valid Driver's License ∙Pass a background check ∙Must be able to work most weekends. The General Manager needs to own the accountability for arriving early and potentially staying past shifts (Must be able/willing to work a flexible schedule) ∙Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs ∙Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals ∙Ability to write and communicate clearly and professionally ∙The employee must comply with all aspects of GO!
