Job Description

Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking dedicated general production workers to join our team on the 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift operates from 6am to 2pm, and the 2nd shift operates from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays. Responsibilities Operate press and weld machines, including coil-fed stamping presses, utilizing hand tools, metrology equipment, and plasma cutters. Monitor quality and check parts using gauges, documenting results to verify and record quality. Assist with die setters during die changes. Perform troubleshooting activities on presses. Pack parts using available equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area, including managing scrap containers. Perform various other duties as required by management. Essential Skills Experience with automotive or aerospace industries, or large distribution centers such as Penske or Amazon. At least 6 months of manufacturing experience. Strong attention to detail. Availability for weekend and overtime work as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with forklifts or cranes is highly beneficial. Work Environment The work takes place across six buildings in a typical stamping facility equipped with presses ranging from 100-600 tons, MIG welding machines, and orbit forming machines for rivets. The environment is loud and not the cleanest, but safety measures are in place. Candidates will be provided with masks, latex gloves if desired, hand sanitizer stations, disinfecting spray, and safety glasses. The dress code includes comfortable tennis shoes, but no shorts or tank tops. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
