Salary Range:

$150,000 - $190,000 (based on experience) AppleOne is working with a very well-known and highly respected Commercial General Contractor that is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to join their growing South Florida team. This organization has a strong reputation for delivering large-scale multifamily and commercial construction projects and is looking for a proven field leader with extensive experience managing mid-rise and high-rise projects from start to finish. Position Overview The General Superintendent will oversee all field operations for assigned projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will lead Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel while serving as a key partner to Project Management and Executive Leadership. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all day-to-day jobsite operations Ensure OSHA safety compliance and enforce jobsite safety standards Lead scheduling, sequencing, and field coordination activities Manage subcontractor performance and productivity Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates Coordinate inspections, quality control, and benchmark reviews Lead subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and coordination meetings Partner closely with Project Managers to resolve field and operational challenges Manage project closeout activities including punch lists and owner turnover Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Qualifications 8+ years of construction industry experience Strong experience managing multifamily mid-rise and high-rise projects from start through completion Extensive knowledge of field operations, scheduling, manpower coordination, and construction sequencing Proven leadership experience managing field teams and subcontractors Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus What They Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Results-driven and proactive Strong in leadership and team development Client-focused with excellent communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced construction environments Experienced in driving projects forward while maintaining quality and safety standards This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing Commercial General Contractor with a strong pipeline of projects throughout South Florida.
